Fermented robusta coffee, is a 14-day wet fermentation using selected yeast which is naturally found in the coffee fermentation process. Fermentation gives a fragrant wine aroma and is able to reduce caffeine levels in coffee. Fermentation can increase levels of antioxidants such as chlorogenic acid, caffeic acid and breakdown of tannin compounds into phenolic acids which are beneficial for health. Coffee antioxidants are beneficial for heart health.
